easton stealth speed

A teammate has an Easton Synergy SCN3 (considered one of the hotter ASA bats), so I was looking for a similar ASA approved bat for my bag. In my research, I found the Easton SRV3 was highly recommended by many websites. Let me tell you, this bat is amazing! It feels great, has a lot of pop, and is worth the purchase price. It is a bit end loaded, so if you prefer a std 28oz bat, you may want the 26oz. Yes, it's pricey, but I've probably spent $300 on several cheap bats I never use instead of just buying one good one...that won't happen again.

I used this bat for the first time lastnight in a co-ed game. The first swing, I hit a pop-up, second swing went over the center field fence, third swing hit the opposite field fence, fourth swing was a line drive over the center field fence! I've never been a big homerun hitter, but I was having trouble keeping it in the yard lastnight! And I didn't even feel like I got great contact. If I really get a hold of one with this bat it is going to go a mile! The ball really jumps off this bat! If you want to be a power hitter this bat is for you.

P.S. The rules in my co-ed league only allow one homerun per team per game, so both of mine were outs.

The reason I am buying a new bat is because after years of use my Easton Synergy Extended, the SCX3, cracked and I believe is unusable. I was extremely heart broken as I thought I would never find another like it...Until yesterday!

I received the new Synergy bat the morning of 06/16/11 and used it that same night in a game. I can 100% confirm the claims that this bat it HOT OUT OF THE WRAPPER. Although I didn't actually hit a HR, I did get a hold of one that landed approx. 20 feet over the HR fence that was just foul. My guess on the distance would be approx. 310'. I'm actually considering buying another to have as a back up should anything happen to this one.

I would highly recommend this to anyone that plays ASA and is looking for a very well balanced bat with plenty of pop for the HR hitters, yet still very effective for those that don't hit for power.
